Our BA (Hons) International Sports Management delivers a unique insight into the large and growing economy of sport management on a global playing field.
You’ll study the key aspects of international management focused in the context of sports organisations, how the external environment impacts on business performance and the impact of sports management on society on both national and international levels.
On graduation you’ll have the specialist knowledge and leadership skills to pursue a career managing and organising at a local and international level.

Course Content

You will begin by studying a broad foundation in business and sports management. In years 2, 3 and 4 you will develop industry expertise through the study of Sport in the Community, Sports Coaching Management and Sports Governance together with Global Sports and Sports Volunteering.
In addition to the central subject of sports management, you will study a range of complementary business modules designed to provide you with a wider understanding of business and the society in which you'll operate as a global leader of tomorrow.
You can choose your 'Open Option' modules from a wide variety of subjects including European languages, psychology, sociology, politics, history, communications, and other management or business related subjects.
