Requirements for Jazz Saxophone Programme at Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music

Are you interested in studying jazz saxophone at the Girolamo Frescobaldi Conservatory of Music? Our programme is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful jazz saxophonist. Here are the requirements for admission:

• A minimum of two years of playing experience on the saxophone.
• A minimum of two years of music theory and ear training.
• A minimum of two years of improvisation experience.
• A minimum of two years of ensemble experience.
• A minimum of two years of jazz history.
• A minimum of two years of jazz arranging.
• A minimum of two years of jazz composition.
• A minimum of two years of jazz pedagogy.
