The Faculty of Law offers a three-year program that emphasizes a balance between doctrinal, clinical and perspective courses, each of which contributes to an understanding of the law, its application, and its role within a civil society. Students gain the practical experience that they require in the field by working closely with professors and practicing lawyers. The Bachelor of Law degree permits the holder to take the Bar Admission course of any Canadian common law province. The Bar Admission course, together with articling with a law firm or a government agency, takes approximately one year following graduation from the Faculty of Law.
