The School offers various options for undergraduate study, the 'LLB Law' (3 years full-time), the 'LLB Law with Professional Placement' (4 years sandwich) as well as the specialist '' courses.
We teach law as a single subject for students to gain a solid and grounded foundation in law, resulting in confident graduates ready to meet the challenges of further study or professional life. The Brunel LLB law degree features core modules satisfying the requirements of the Law Society and the Bar Council. Final year students can tailor their degree by specialising in areas of law they wish to explore and gain a deeper understanding of.
Students on the 'LLB Law with Professional Placement' will spend a up to one year working in industry, gaining valuable experience that may count towards the period of professional training required by the Law Society for solicitors' training. We are one of only a few UK law schools that offer this opportunity as a part of the degree programme, and students work closely throughout their time at . Students on the four-year placement programme graduate with a degree from a highly respected law school and an excellent CV.
Students undertaking the part-time option have a greater flexibility of organising the existing modules to fit round their lives, providing the opportunity to earn while learning.
