The UOW Master of Laws (Criminal Exercise ) could be the sole Masters-level eligibility of its kind in Australia. This app is designed for lawyers in (or aspiring to perform in) criminal clinic for a prosecutor or defence attorney. It attracts practitioners from across Australia, New Zealand and PNG. . Students will get working experience in a supported environment, employing your legal knowledge into case scenarios. Students may also develop their oral and written critical research skills.
Applicants should have a recognised Bachelor of Laws degree (or equivalent) and a Graduate Diploma or Certificate in Legal Practice. Applicants with a Bachelor of Laws degree, who don't hold a doctorate Diploma or Certificate in Legal counsel may find entry to this class if they have equivalent professional experience. Equivalent professional experience wouldbe experience that's sufficient to qualify for admission to legal clinic or the absolute minimum of twelve months relevant legal clinic.
