Laws (Research)

This amount is available for students who possess a prior academic or professional qualifications in law (Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor or equivalent). The Master of Laws (Research) program can be a higher level by research awarded for a 50,000 word thesisproposal. It symbolizes the student's capacity to investigate, analyse and apply information and theories to a body of practice or knowledge.

This degree doesn't meet professional requirements for admission to legal practice.

Bachelor of Laws, Juris Doctor or equivalent with an average of 65 per cent. Admission is on the basis of an approved research proposal and availability of appropriate supervision.
