Description

The accelerated bachelor's to master's program for a Leadership & Organizational Development degree (BA/MA) is designed for working professionals wishing to pursue a bachelor's degree in Organizational Studies and professional master's degree while maintaining part- or full-time employment. Our leadership programs offer courses in online formats with optional blended class meetings, in an accelerated 8-week term. These accelerated organizational development courses in St. Louis make our advanced online organizational and leadership courses more accessible for working professionals.

As a part of their undergraduate studies, Organizational Studies majors at SPS can take up to two courses (6 credit hours) that can be applied toward both the bachelor’s degree and the Leadership & Organizational Development master's degree.

Students may request permission to take up to two of the graduate-level ORLD courses as a part of their undergraduate education (this applies to students in any online program at SPS as well as business degree students). If accepted to the LOD program, these two courses would be applied toward the degree completion requirements. The student must possess a 3.0 GPA in his/her major and minor coursework taken at SPS in order to be granted permission to take these graduate level courses. Business degree students and other undergraduate level students who meet the above requirements are welcome to apply.

After completing these two graduate-level organizational and leadership courses, up to 6 credit hours will be applied to the 36-credit-hour professional master's degree in Leadership & Organizational Development, leaving only 30 credit hours to completion and saving students time and money.
