This course investigates the trends, challenges and opportunities of resulting in municipality. It can help build complex knowledge and skills to enable current and aspiring community government leaders to create a larger contribution to improving social, economic, environmental and governance performance of their organisations to the sake of communities now and in to the long term. The training course is closely tailored to the municipality environment and allows current and aspiring leaders to develop theoretical knowledge and professional capabilities necessary for direction in the public sector. The course gives the opportunity to try an education program that responds to individual needs as well those at the workplace and also the wider community. Subjects involve intensive block style assignments, action learning, self indulgent study, scenario-based challenges and also a real life community leadership endeavor.

  • UTS recognised bachelor level, or equivalent or higher qualification, or submitted other evidence of general and professional credentials that shows potential to pursue graduate studies. Applicants need to offer: an individual statement describing their motives for needing to study town direction
  • A CV articulating town business related assist minimum of 2 years' experience. Applicants who don't own such graduate qualifications must have 2 years' relevant professional experience and demonstrate evidence of meeting bachelor's level learning outcomes in the above field regions. The English proficiency requirement for international students or regional applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • Or TOEFL: newspaper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 2-1
  • Or AE5: Walk
  • Or PTE: 58-64
  • Or CAE: 176-184.
