The Master of Maritime and Air Transport Management prepares its graduates for the challenges faced by the transport sector today. In the programme, students can choose one of three majors: transport research, air transport or maritime transport. Thus, students can tailor their programme to their specific interests and background.

The majors air transport and maritime transport allow students to upgrade their knowledge and abilities and prepare them for their next career step in the maritime or air transport sector. Moreover, the main objective of these majors is to help executive staff members from transport-related companies and organisations (shipping companies, port authorities, terminal operators, airlines, airports etc.) to become top-notch executives.

The major transport research on the other hand offers students a more methodological and quantitative training. In this major, students receive an excellent preparation for a career in for example consulting, policy or research. Moreover, the major transport research can lay the groundwork for further academic pursuits such as a PhD.
