The Master in International Business (MIB) is one of the specialisations within the two-year MSc programme in Economics and Business Administration at NHH. After finishing the programme you will be awarded the title MSc in Economics and Business Administration.

The programme aims to equip students with the right mix of analytical and practical skills for a career within multinational companies, international organisations or smaller firms whose activities involve a substantial degree of international business.

The forces of globalisation and internationalisation have brought people, businesses and markets across the globe closer together than ever before. The modern firm is required to master both international and local dimensions if it aims to succeed in an increasingly competitive setting.

At NHH, students acquire a range of skills that enables them to navigate the challenging seas of the international business world. By focusing on numerous topical clusters and independent projects, the MIB curriculum caters for a wide variety of intellectual interests. Students have the possibility to extend and deepen their understanding of different aspects of modern business practices.

The minimum requirement for the GRE test is 152 points (new scale) / 660 points (old scale) on the Quantative reasoning section. If English is not your mother tongue, you are required to prove your English proficiency by taking either a TOEFL or an IELTS test. For the TOEFL test a score of at least 575 points on the written test, 233 on the computer-based version or 90 points on the internet based test, are required.
