Master of Science in Engineering (MSE)
Thesis Option
Thesis option candidates must successfully complete a coordinated sequence of eight courses and graduate research, and must submit a masters essay (or thesis). The MSE program typically requires three to four semesters of full-time resident graduate study.
All-Course Option
Candidates for the non-thesis M.S.E. program must successfully complete a coordinated sequence of ten courses. A masters essay or thesis is not required for this graduate degree, which typically requires three semesters of full-time resident graduate study. The intent of the program is to provide the student with an intensive exposure to advanced topics within mechanical engineering and engineering mechanics, and to strengthen the understanding of the fundamentals.
Embark in research as you achieve the goal of writing a thesis worthy of publication while gaining masters degree level knowledge in coursework related to your research topics. Most students complete the program in four semesters. A masters degree will allow you to launch your engineering career with advancement opportunities usually not afforded to those without the advanced knowledge that a this degree provides.

The principal criteria for financial aid are academic credentials, language and communication skills, and teaching performance and experience.
