The "Technology" stream of this Master's program enables graduates to contribute in:
The design, development and implementation of e-health systems and telemedicine applications-
The adaptation and maintenance for medical informatics' applications.
The first year of the program is concentrated on mandatory courses. Students take both computer sciences courses as well as specific Telemedicine courses offered by the Department of Computer Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology.
The Master's Thesis has to be completed by the end of the second year. It may be related to research activities at the Department of Computer Sciences, Faculty of Science and Technology or the Norwegian Centre for Integrated Care and Telemedicine (NST), as well as other local and international telemedicine environments. The Thesis may be completed at the Department or at a research environment in Norway or abroad.
