Music History and Historiography Programme at Lucio Campiani Music Conservatory

Requirements for Music History and Historiography Programme at Lucio Campiani Music Conservatory

The Lucio Campiani Music Conservatory offers a Music History and Historiography programme for prospective students. This programme is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the history of music and its development over time. In order to be accepted into the programme, students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum grade point average of 3.0
  • A minimum score of 500 on the SAT or 21 on the ACT
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Theory exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music History exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Historiography exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Literature exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Technology exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Composition exam
  • A minimum score of 5 on the AP Music Performance exam

In addition to the above requirements, prospective students must also submit a personal statement, two letters of recommendation, and a portfolio of their musical work. All applicants must also complete an interview with the admissions committee.
