- Conclusion of a suitable AQF degree 8 honours level (Class I or II)
- Or a post graduate qualification in research methods which include 0.5 semester supervised research using a minimum charge grade (65%) (or equivalent) and one research methods subject
- Or a mix of research and qualifications comparable to the above.
