The Graduate School of Neural & Behavioural Sciences is an International Max Planck Research School (IMPRS) and will provide some scholarships for international students. Nevertheless, international students are asked to also apply for a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD).

The Graduate School of Neural & Behavioural Sciences is located - together with the Graduate School of Cellular & Molecular Neuroscience and the newly established Graduate School of Neural Information Processing - in recently renovated rooms in the Anatomical Institute. In total, the rooms of the Graduate Schools comprise classrooms, a study room with library, three offices, and a kitchenette available to students and staff. The rooms are equipped with state-of-the-art multimedia facilities, computer workstations with internet connection, and a small but extensive subject-specific library with neuroscience text books and review journals. Immediately adjacent to the class- and study room are the offices of the dean of study and the course coordinators.
