This double degree program prepares graduates to fulfill current requirements for a nursing career and also provides the skills to deal with situations where a knowledge of human behaviour are an edge, e.g. in a counseling environment. On conclusion of this application, students have the choice to apply for a fourth year program in psychology, so to be able to acquire provisional registration as a psychologist.

This Class Contains professional Certification from the Australian Nursing and Midwifery Accreditation Council. Candidates are eligible to apply for enrolled nurse status together with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and membership of the Australian College of Nursing. The Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council. To pursue a career in a professional field of psychology, you will need to undertake additional study to gain enrollment with the Psychology Board of Australia.
