Deakin's Bachelor of Nursing gives you the knowledge, skills and ethical understanding you want to develop into competent and successful rn -- launching you into a career in which you can make a real big difference. Clinical trials begin in Trimester inch of your first year and carry on through every noun of this course, totalling over 800 hrs. These technical placements support and consolidate your learning and also so are undertaken in various metropolitanareas, regional and rural health care settings under the supervision of qualified professionals across disciplines including acute and sub-acute maintenance, medical care, elderly care and paediatrics. When you're not on placement, development of one's technical abilities continues within our semi clinical simulation distances, which replicate real life and community settings using advanced equipment. Our Clinical Counsel Centres offer a safe, supportive and realistic environment for you to enhance and enhance important nursing and midwifery skills.

On conclusion of this class students will be eligible to submit an application for enrollment as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA). Note: the NMBA has enrollment requirements that must be met to be able to register. Course completion is one of these simple requirements.

Entry will be determined by performance in Units 3 and 4: a study score of at least 30 in English EAL (English as an additional language) or at least 25 in English besides EAL or equivalent, or Certificate IV: or higher( or concurrent Bachelor study.
