Only at that level, enrolled nurses integrate and adapt specialised, theoretical and technical knowledge to tackle a wide selection of clinical situations and challenges in their field of specialisation. They contribute to the continuous advancement of clinical practice using research and involvement in wider organisational quality processes. Enrolled nurses maintain responsibility for their own actions while remaining accountable for the Registered Nurse/Midwife for all assigned functions.Note that the range of training for this particular work role is set by property and state legislative requirements and the policies and procedures of the hiring organisation.
