This program is intended for students holding a tertiary qualification, who would like to become a nurse. It is intended to introduce students to the profession of nursing through both clinical and theoretical learning. Graduates of the class is going to have a far more rigorous basis on which to rely in their professional practice, especially in relation to those aspects of practice which call for and understanding ethnic and social influences. They will also be able to work with semi-scripted and unstructured workplace environments, apply the study literature in their own practice and also to identify researchable issues in the clinical setting.
