The BSc Nutrition and Food Science program is science you can eat! Nutrition and Food Science students learn to develop tasty and nutritious food products for people to enjoy, ensure the food that people eat is safe, and promote healthy living by helping people make nutritious food choices. Throughout the program, students have the opportunity to apply their knowledge and skills while completing real-world projects and case studies that examine issues faced by the food industry and nutritional health sector.The goal of the Nutrition Major is to provide students with a specialized academic program in nutritional science and the related physical, health and social sciences. It incorporates experiential learning into coursework to enable students to develop skills in nutritional science.
