This system permits students study health science issues along with occupational science research, professional and management issues, and health promotion. Field work placements occur each year in rural and urban regions throughout the spot, with some placements available interstate or internationally. Occupational therapists assist people to overcome limitations due to injury, illness, psychological or emotional difficulties, developmental delay, or the ramifications of aging. The course prepares students to function well with people in a range of health and community settings.

  • Year 12 or equivalent
  • English (Units 3/4,C) and among sciences, chemistry, physics, health or physical instruction (Units 3/4,C). Students must also meet requirements for positioning: immunisation
  • Current Provide Medical Certificate
  • Suitability to Work with Children Card (Blue Card)
  • Australian Federal Police check.
