In this program students learn occupational therapy, social and biological sciences, public health, and functional anatomy. Students complete 1000 hours of field work made to give them professional knowledge and clinical knowledge in a wide range of preferences and age groups. USC delivers specialised centers including a simulated individual living unit and allied health practices to allow students to convert their knowledge to real-life scenarios. Students gain research training experience and choose to take on an investigation pathway (determined by GPA). This diploma is fully accredited by the World Federation of Occupational Therapists, and scholars will be eligible for enrollment with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia encouraged by the Australian Medical Professional Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Year 12 or equivalent. Prerequisites: English (Units 3 and 4, C)
- and Something of Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Health or Physical Education (Units 3 and 4, C). Special English language requirements apply.
