Requirements for the Organ and Organ Composition Programme at Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory

The Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory offers a comprehensive Organ and Organ Composition programme for prospective students. To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of two years of prior musical training in organ performance and/or composition.
• A minimum grade of B in all music courses.
• A minimum grade of C in all other courses.
• A minimum score of 80% on the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory entrance exam.
• A minimum score of 70% on the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory theory exam.
• A minimum score of 70% on the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory sight-reading exam.
• A minimum score of 70% on the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory aural skills exam.
• A minimum score of 70% on the Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory improvisation exam.

Applicants must also submit a portfolio of original compositions and/or arrangements for organ. The portfolio should include at least three pieces of varying styles and difficulty levels.
