Philosophy

This is really a supervised research tool obtained by thesis or folio. The study of each candidate is conducted under the supervision of a full time member of their academic team. Candidates will be needed to take part in an oral colloquium about 1 / 3 of the way through candidature in which the planned research is safeguarded and therefore are needed to ultimately submit a thesis embodying the results of their research.

• Deakin University offers admission to postgraduate courses through a number of Admission categories. Applicants should possess demonstrated evidence of a higher standard of research skill. This is generally an Honours season to H2A (70%+) conventional, an investigation master level, or a doctorate master degree with a substantial thesis. However, additional evidence of research ability could be considered and may include a thesis within a international undergraduate degree
