This course supplies the training adventures to acquire the knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors expected of the entry level physiotherapist. It's a hybrid structure using curriculum based learning to efficiently learn foundation knowledge in addition to case studies and clinical treatment to incorporate knowledge into clinical decision making. Additionally, it emphasises evidence-based clinic and promotes students in critical thinking. Prospective applicants are advised that the application requires full participation in laboratory classes where manual skills, for example, capability to lift and support severely disabled patients independently and topics such as surface anatomy are presented. Essential learning strategies demand that all students disrobe appropriately to be able to behave as subjects for their peer group, possess the capability to participate fully and are ready to act as subjects for their peer group and as mock patients for different students.

This course is Licensed by the Australian Physiotherapy Council and Can Be Recognized with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia, the Australian Physician Regulation Agency and the Australian Physiotherapy Association. Graduates are eligible for physiotherapy enrollment in any state or territory of Australia. Registration in New Zealand can be obtained under the terms of the TransTasman agreement. Graduates applying for licensure from different countries will have to supply details of their program of studies into the relevant bodies and may have to sit a licensing exam.
