Physiotherapy

This app's studies involve health science subjects, anatomy/physiology and psychiatric areas such as human movement and dimension, passive manual methods, exercise prescription, massage therapy, and current professional topics. Physiotherapists are health professionals who focus on the recovery of work to enhance wellbeing. They assess and diagnose issues with human movement, subsequently plan and administer treatment to restore function or reduce dysfunction after injury or disease. There is a special focus on rural and remote practice. Clinical trials are undertaken in many different settings.

• Year 12 or equivalent
• English (Units 3/4,C), mathematical techniques (Components 3/4,C), also one of biology, chemistry, physics
• Physical education or health (Components 3/4,C). Students must meet prerequisites such as placement: immunisation
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate
• Suitability to Work with Children Card (Blue Card)
• Australian Federal Police check.
