While policy and politics are obviously closely related in practice, they operate according to distinct logics. To understand these logics, one also requires different techniques. Students in the Master's Political Science: Policy and Politics are exposed both to policy experts and political scientists and learn how to combine the different views in evaluating political and policy processes. During the one-year Masters' programme Political Science: Policy and Politics, you receive a thorough-based training and insight in how the dynamics of politics interact with everyday governance processes,. This interaction is put in light of developments at the transnational, European and global level and applied in specific policy areas like security policy.
