Description

The Engineering Transfer Program is designed for currently enrolled students in the Newark College of Arts & Sciences (NCAS) interested in a bachelor of science degree in engineering. The pre-engineering program offered at Rutgers University-Newark is in collaboration with the Rutgers School of Engineering on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus. Students in the engineering transfer program follow the required engineering curriculum for one to two years at Rutgers University-Newark. Once the necessary courses have been successfully completed and the required GPA has been met, students will apply to transfer to the Rutgers School of Engineering via the school to school transfer application. Students will complete the remaining coursework in the School of Engineering on the New Brunswick/Piscataway campus.

  • cumulative rank, when available
  • SAT and/or ACT scores
  • English Proficiency Examination results, when required
