This program aims to present the opportunity for health, and other professionals with primary healthcare responsibilities to acquire knowledge and understanding of primary health care that will enable leadership in this area. It offers a focus on the knowledge and behaviour required to be a key healthcare provider in a changing community environment. Opportunities will be given for students to tackle detailed study into aspects of primary health care that relate to their own specific aspects of work/practice.
Under graduate degree in medical sciences (AQF Grade 7 or equivalent), such as medicine, dentistry, medicine, pathology, optometry, nutrition, individual science, naturopathy, complementary medicine, nursing, psychology, health science, science, sports science or physiotherapy.
