The profile of the graduate is composed of knowledge from transfer of heat, substance, and momentum in one-, two- and three-phase systems typical for chemical and food-processing machines and equipment. The graduate is able to generalize the acquired knowledge and to formulate them in an acceptable form, and is capable of evaluating and comparing the acquired knowledge with that from literature and his own experiments. He knows methods of process modeling and designing new and non-traditional processing technology, uses special methods of investigation and is familiar with the latest laboratory techniques and instruments for his own research and development. He is capable of evaluating legal, environmental, safety and economic aspects of production, investigated and developed production, products, technology, as well as of the used processing technology. He is aware of the social and moral consequences of his profession. The graduate is well prepared to apply himself in independent and team solutions of scientific/research and development projects in technological and production processes, in machine and equipment design in various industries. He can also work in specialized divisions of state administration, mainly in the environmental sphere.
