The inter-university Masters in Psychogerontology aims to train psychologists to an advanced level in the field of the psychology of aging and the elderly, providing graduates with advanced knowledge in the following areas: management of residential homes and centres, day centres, community centre, care homes, associations, management of any kind of social service directed at the elderly population.

Objectives
On completing the course graduates will:

- Possess advanced knowledge of the different disciplines in this area, and the theoretical and practical problems that an interdisciplinary sphere faces.

- Understand, differentiate between and critically evaluate the different trends and traditions of psychogerontology.

- Acquire professional and research skills to carry out evaluation, psychological intervention and research into healthy old age, cognitive deterioration, and other pathologies associated with aging in different family and institutional areas.

* 1. Adequacy of the student´s academic qualifications. * 2. Average mark of the academic records. * 3. Command of English: the student must be able to read scientific texts in English. * 4. Motivation and presentation letter. * 5. Personal interview. * 6. Academic and profesional experience (scientific papers published, academic stays in prestigious institutions, research experience, professional experience, scholarships, awards, etc.).
