This educational degree equips students with a thorough knowledge in the scientific field of education, research skills sought after by companies, and psychological literacy which can be implemented to some job or part of life. At the first three years students complete a 120 credit line core sequence in psychology, and a 40 credit line psychology expansion sub-major, and 80 credit points of open electives. Entry to fourth year needs a minimum academic benchmark. For students who meet the entry requirements, fourth year is a honours program consisting of a 30 credit point research thesis and 50 credit points of course work.

This training course is accredited by the Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC) to the premise that it meets all the APAC Accreditation Standards (June 2010) for a 4 year sequence of study in psychology.
