Public health identifies organised efforts to reduce illness, promote health and reduce health inequalities in overall inhabitants. A postgraduate public health level is recognized worldwide as being invaluable for a career in public health. The Graduate Diploma in Public Health is intended for both non-medical and clinically qualified students interested in a career in people or international wellness, research or clinic. Through this course, students acquire skills in planning, execution and analysis of public health programs. The Graduate Diploma in Public Health Provides a Wide Variety of electives. UTS utilises a mixture of face to face education, including block days, and online educational delivery. Academic staff are exceptionally experienced clinicians and investigators, and recognized as leaders within their preferred areas of general health. Upon finishing the course, graduates have a worldwide recognized qualification. They have developed skills and gained knowledge crucial to the contemporary people health professional. Graduates are more prone to get the job done in a range of public health functions in private or government businesses, in addition to in not-for-profit organisations; in disciplines such as: ecological health, epidemiology, health education, health care, and health promotion.

  • UTS recognised bachelor degree, or equivalent or higher qualification, or filed additional evidence of general and professional credentials which shows possibility to pursue graduate studies. This evidence might consist of extensive relevant work experience in a health or human services field. Applicants must possess at least 12 months's fulltime equivalent expertise in a health or person services firm. Applicants who don't have an undergraduate degree but with extensive relevant work experience in a health or human services field and can demonstrate the capacity to undertake tertiary study may also be considered eligible. The English proficiency requirement of international students or neighborhood applicants with international credentials is: Academic IELTS: 6.5 overall with a writing score of 6.0
  • Or TOEFL: newspaper based: 550-583 overall with TWE of 4.5, internet based: 79-93 overall with a writing score of 21
  • Or AE5: Pass
  • Or PTE: 58-64
  • Or CAE: 176-184.
