This system provides graduates with the skills required to improve general health, assess determinants of health and disease, develop and execute efficient and effective approaches to health services also to exhibit specialist skills in research and professional training. Upon completion of the program graduates will be equipped to function as a health educator, health promotion officer or within a range of general health functions in government, private or not-for-profit agencies.

  • Minimum of a 4 year undergraduate degree in an area related to public health such as medicine, biomedical/medical science, nursing, allied health, dentistry, psychology, veterinary science, education, lawand technology, company, commerce, science and arts. Applicants with a three year undergraduate degree should possess an Honours degree or other postgraduate qualifications such as being a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma
  • or perhaps the absolute minimum of 1 year's employment experience in a related field.
