Requirements for the Recorder Programme at Franco Vittadini Institute of Music Studies

The Recorder Programme at Franco Vittadini Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary to become a successful recorder player. To be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Music Theory or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Practical Music or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Recorder or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Aural Training or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Sight-Reading or equivalent.
  • A minimum of Grade 5 in Performance or equivalent.

In addition to the above requirements, prospective students must also demonstrate a commitment to the study of music and the recorder. This includes a willingness to practice regularly and attend all classes and rehearsals.
