Requirements for the Percussion Instruments Programme at Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory

The Luca Marenzio Music Conservatory offers a comprehensive Percussion Instruments Programme for prospective students. To be eligible for the programme, applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Applicants must have a minimum of two years of experience playing percussion instruments.
• Applicants must demonstrate a strong knowledge of music theory and sight-reading.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least two percussion instruments.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one orchestral percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one Latin percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one jazz percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one world percussion instrument.
• Applicants must be able to demonstrate proficiency in at least one electronic percussion instrument.
