Studying with one of the largest Bachelor of Commerce programs in the country gives you some distinct advantages. You can focus your studies in a traditional field such as Accounting, Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources. Or you can branch out into some of the unique and non-traditional majors such as Business Economics & Law, East Asian Studies, Entrepreneurship & Family Enterprise, Retailing & Services, and Management Information Systems. In the classroom, you can expect to find professors who challenge you to put ideas to work. Team and project work is a strong component of all of our classes, with our professors often playing a role as coach, mentor, moderator and information resource.Building on the strong foundation of the Bachelor of Commerce program, the retailing curriculum draws on the expertise of a world class faculty and exceptionally strong industry connections to train the next generations of retail executives. The program is designed to be a mix of theory and hands-on learning. Executives from the retail industry visit the school on a regular basis to meet with students and speak in our classrooms. In addition, retail majors and minors have the opportunity to participate in a paid summer internship with one of our partner organizations, while also conducting a project under academic supervision.
