Science Communication Outreach

The ANU Master of Science Communication Outreach is an internationally well-regarded qualification unlike any other. Student's educational adventures are hosted in Questacon and ANU, together with scientists and science communicators giving demonstrations and lectures based on innovative research in mathematics communication. Students will develop skills in speaking in public; media and demonstration; public relations; exhibit design and communication research; teamwork strategies; as well as developing expertise in presenting technology and science to students. Students will have the chance to sample diverse careers at the interface of science and the community, including travel into remote and regional regions of Australia while staffing the Shell Questacon Science Circus.

• A Bachelor Honours degree or international equivalent with a minimum GPA of 5.0/7.0
• Cognate Areas: Science, Engineering and Technology degrees including Mathematical Sciences, Physics and Astronomy, Chemical Sciences, Earth Sciences, Biological Sciences, Environmental Studies, Other Natural and Physical Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering and Related Technologies, Health and Education Students must meet the ANU Englishlanguage Requirements.
