Spoken and Written English

This class provides a general education program framework for English as an additional language (EAL) literacy and language education primarily geared to recently arrived migrants and refugees who should come up with language skills to take part in a variety of community contexts. The Certificate also contains elective numeracy modules for those EAL learners who might also should develop numeracy skills and not just become familiar with the English of mathematics. It's suitable as an intermediate route for learners that have developed a success degree of English, literacy or numeracy knowledge and who have had some official or informal exposure to English.
