Spoken and Written English for Further Study

This class focuses on the creation of spoken and written language skills needed to carry on with postsecondary or higher education studies. It develops the skills for learners to participate in a range of further study contexts. The class takes an integrated solution, linking listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. It provides students the opportunity to clinic study skills like preparation and composing essays, participating in tutorial discussions, giving oral presentations, listening to lectures and reading a range of academic texts in preparation for further education courses in English.
