The job of Sport Development has a multi disciplinary approach to prepare graduates for careers in the sport and active recreation market. They can pursue a range of roles, including creation, promotion and management, in areas such as community sports and recreation organisations and facilities, professional sport businesses, community participation teams, national and state sporting businesses and never for profit sport for social change bureaus. The program comprises studies in physical activity, exercise and health promotion, sport education, psychology, sport management, and capacity building through community projects.
