This course begins with an introduction into the game, recreation and event industry and targets the key facets of game delivery systems, event administration, programming and leadership, culture and professional identity development, recreation and sport facilities and services management, tactical and human resource administration, marketing and communications, funding and finance, game place management, event operations management, management factors, and company research and planning. Students also undertake a range of specialist industry practice chances, and also community-interactive project work in the related industries.Students have the possibility to further specialise their studies with a stronger industry focus in various fields, such as promotion, sports science, human resource management, public relations, or hospitality and tourism management.Students graduate ready to enter into the fastpaced and dynamic game, recreation and events industry, using learnt the industry-focused theoretical understanding and practical skills necessary to be successful.
