Teaching (Secondary)

Provides a nationwide accredited initial teaching qualification for students who've already obtained a Bachelor degree or an equivalent qualification in areas other than Education. The Master of Teaching (Secondary) is a dynamic course specializing in preparing future teachers to Secondary Education.Designed specifically to create expert knowledge in both theory and also fundamental practice within real classrooms, graduates are provided with all of the necessary tools to achieve success and optimistic teachers.This training program accommodates"principles and measurements" of excellence and is delivered through mutually beneficial partnerships between the University and individual schools.Upon completion, graduates are eligible to teach in a major and minor subject of study in secondary schools at both the private and government sector. Graduates will have met the highest standards in personal ethics and training which the profession demands.

• University admission requirements apply. All applicants need to demonstrate advanced skills and knowledge in a particular discipline to enroll in a significant subject of specialisation (eg. A Major within their Bachelor level ) and intermediate abilities to enroll at a smallish subject of specialisation (eg. A inside their Bachelor Degree), and offer a resume,along with satisfying academic submission criteria, applicants for pre-service teacher education classes at Edith Cowan University should satisfy non-academic criteria. Applicants' non-academic capabilities will be evaluated dependent on conclusion of a Non-Academic Requirements for Prospective Entry (NARTE) on the web questionnaire. More than one of those specialisations within this class has admission requirements.
