Description

This one-of-a-kind, multidisciplinary, English-taught programme integrates social and technical perspectives in a new approach that educates tomorrow’s engineers at Honours level.

This programme is the only technology-based Liberal Arts & Sciences programme in the Netherlands. This three-year English-taught Honours Bachelor’s programme takes a unique approach to engineering. It is specifically for those who look beyond obvious solutions and want to turn challenges into socially meaningful, technology-driven change. Hands-on projects form the core of the programme and are key to the total learning experience. For half of the curriculum, you’ll work in teams on semester-long projects assigned by external clients. In parallel, you’ll study relevant theory and learn new skills in the areas of research, design, communication and leadership. Part of your curriculum consists of a Personal Pursuit in which you will indulge your academic passions, often in another field of study. You will enjoy personal contact with our dynamic teaching team: ATLAS features twice the number of contact hours of traditional Bachelor’s programmes. We set the academic bar higher than others, making ATLAS an ideal choice for high-flyers. With this Honours degree you will be eligible for admission to prestigious technical or social science Master’s programmes in the Netherlands or abroad.
