MA Technology, Education and Learning (distance learning) is a two-year part-time online programme for people currently using digital technologies in educational settings, such as teachers, trainers, user support staff, educational software developers, librarians and managerial staff.
The programme also has a one-year, full-time Leeds-based option.
MA Technology, Education and Learning analyses the relationship between digital technologies and education, and examines how technology can support learning across a range of educational settings.
The programme analyses the theoretical, professional and practical applications of digital technologies, and critically evaluates research and development in technology enhanced learning, enabling you to relate the design and evaluation of materials to a range of learning approaches and practices.
As this programme is taught online, you will gain practical experience of digital learning while you study. While many of our students study by distance, all students work together in a virtual learning environment (VLE), so you will meet many different people, even if you are working from home.
Important noteThis programme is not an ICT skills training or programming course; we expect our students to have basic ICT competence before starting the programme.

Students in Cyprus should note that if you pass both of these examination modules then your MA will be recognised by KYSATS. The examinations must be taken at a local British Council Office and you will need to pay an additional fee (about £100 per module) to the British Council.
