This qualification reflects the role of individuals that have a restricted and defined array of tourism usable abilities and basic industry knowledge. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive activities and work under direct supervision.This qualification provides a pathway to work in many tourism and travel industry businesses and for a diverse selection of companies including travel agencies, tour agents, tour operators, attractions, cultural and heritage websites, and some other small tourism business.Work can possibly be undertaken in a workplace environment at which the planning of tourism and travel products takes place, in the field where products are delivered, or even a blend of both.Possible occupation titles include:documentation for a tour or travel agencymuseum attendantoffice helper for a tour operatorreceptionist and office assistant for a professional conference organiser or event direction businessreceptionist and office helper in a travel agencyretail sales helper in an attractionride attendant in an attraction.No occupational licensing, certificate or special legislative requirements connect with the qualification at the time of publication.
