Welcome to the Tuba Programme at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia!

The Tuba Programme at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia is designed to provide students with the highest level of instruction in the art of playing the tuba. Our experienced faculty will guide you through the fundamentals of tuba playing, from proper posture and breathing techniques to advanced techniques such as vibrato and articulation. We also offer a wide range of performance opportunities, from solo recitals to chamber music ensembles.

Our curriculum is designed to help you develop your skills as a tuba player, while also providing you with the opportunity to explore the history and literature of the instrument. We offer courses in music theory, ear training, and sight-reading, as well as classes in jazz improvisation and orchestral repertoire. We also offer master classes and workshops with renowned tuba players from around the world.
