Requirements
Qualified graduates of established high school or colleges are eligible for taking entrance examination to the first year of the medical curriculum. The applicant have to submit the application form, together with all the necessary enclosures to the address:

Required Documents
Applicants must submit the following documents:
- signed Application Form
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) - with official translation into Slovak language. Please note that the School report should include all grade results obtained during your studies,
- Birth Certificate (with official translation into Slovak Language),
- Certificate about vaccination against hepatitis B (Under Article 25 (2), In accordance with Study rules of the Faculty of Medicine, Comenius University, Bratislava regarding health safety and health protection, student must undergo obligatory vaccination against B hepatitis.
- photocopy of the Passport,
- 3 pictures passport size,
- Validation of GCE
Entrance Examination Fee
The applicants have to pay for the Entrance Examination administration. The payment is 70 . After receiving Application Form - duly completed and signed, the Study Office will send the invoice for 70 together with all details for bank transfer to each applicant by post and by e-mail. Each applicant has to provide the confirmation of the payment latest one week before the Entrance Examination by mail (scanned copy).
Entrance Examination Topic
Chemistry and Biology (multiple choice tests, MCQs)
The test is in the written form in English language and consists 100 questions on Biology and 100 questions on Chemistry. Test questions will be chosen randomly by the computer and the set of questions (in the sealed envelope) will be distributed randomly to the applicants. The examination answer sheets will be scaned and evaluated by the computer at CUFM avoiding any personal interference during evaluation. Proficiency in English language is one of the entry requirements at the Faculty of Medicine. We would like to remind you that the acceptance to the studies at Comenius University Faculty of Medicine is conditioned by successful passing of the entrance examinations.
The accepted applicants have to pay the deposit of 1.000 . The deposit guarantees your place for the coming academic year, it is not refundable but it will be subtracted from the tuition fee for the first academic year (all the other necessary information will be given on the day of Entrance Examination and by e-mail).
Booklet with questions for Entrance Examination
The revision booklet to the applicants for General Medicine and Dentistry studies at Comenius University Faculty of Medicine in Bratislava contains 500 biology example questions and the 500 chemistry example questions that are recommended to revise for meeting the Entrance Examination requirements. The prize for the booklet is 15 Euro.
