Assessments address ‘real-world’ issues and problems. Students can also do work-based learning as part of their studies.

A Voluntary Research Assistant Scheme enables students to work on staff projects and gain live experience of psychology research. Psychology graduates are also encouraged to take on voluntary or paid positions following university to gain relevant experience before further study or training. We offer to host regional British Psychological Society student conferences and careers events to support students in their careers.
