Requirements for the Viola Programme at Giacomo Puccini Institute of Music Studies

The Viola Programme at Giacomo Puccini Institute of Music Studies is designed to provide students with the highest level of musical training. In order to be accepted into the programme, prospective students must meet the following requirements:

  • A minimum of two years of prior musical training on the viola.
  • A minimum grade of B in all music theory and history courses.
  • A minimum grade of B in all performance courses.
  • A minimum grade of C in all other courses.
  • A successful audition.
